Aluminum Nugget ID 123 Rare Mineral Specimen

This native aluminum nugget (natural) was found with a deep coat of inorganic salts in between the metal layer and the mineral deposit on top. It somehow survived. It took a lot of brushing and phosphating to bring this specimen to life. XRF analysis shows 72% aluminum and 26% light elements (LE) with trace amounts of phosphorus, iron, copper, manganese, titanium, chromium, lead, tantalum, vanadium, zinc, hafnium, cadmium, antimony, tin, palladium and zirconium. Weight: 6.3 g. VDI: 77. Dimensions: 67mm L x 17mm W x 10mm H.
